Delivery of the National Communication Award 2015

On Tuesday May 10, 2016 was held at the National Theatre of Catalonia, the ceremony of the National Research Awards 2015, chaired by the Hon M. Carles Puigdemont. The gala has been driven by the actors Pere Arquillué and Agata Roca. The National Research Awards are convened by the Government of Catalonia and the Catalan Foundation for Research and Innovation, to promote social recognition of science and activity of researchers, patrons, businessmen and communicators. The winners of the 2015 edition have been Manel Esteller, director of the Program of Epigenetics and Cancer Biology at the Institute of Bellvitge Biomedical Research (IDIBELL) and ICREA Research Professor (National Research Award); Frank Koppens, ICREA Research Professor at the Institute of Photonic Sciences (ICFO) (National Research Award to Young Talent); Foundation Catalunya – La Pedrera (National Scientific Patronage Award); the Alicia Foundation (National Award public partnership in R & I); and “Quèquicom” program of Television of Catalonia (National Award for Science Communication).
