Presentation of the book “Zygomatic Implants: the anatomy-guided approach”
On October 24, 2012 was presented at the Medic College of Barcelona the book “Zygomatic Implants: The Anatomy-guided approach“. The event was attended by the author of the book, Dr. Carlos Aparicio, Medical Director of Clinica Aparicio, Luis Tejerina, General Director of Plénido Dental Group and Anna Ferrer President and Executive Director of the Vicente Ferrer Foundation. The event was led by the science communicator Pere Renom .
This book captures the origins and subsequent refinement of the technique of dental implants in zygomatic bones of the face, along with a wide list of real case studies. With this technique patients without bone to place conventional implants can receive a fixed dental prosthesis in a few hours, without grafting, and without general anesthesia. Clinica Aparicio actively colaborate on various projects that the Vicente Ferrer Foundation develops in southern India as housing or neonatal unit Bathadapali Hospital. This time, Clinica Aparicio will donate all sales of this book to the Foundation.
